I joke that I married into a
big Irish family, 23 in
the immediate family and counting. So I get to hear
my father-in-law Lou sing Irish songs all year long.
So I am sick of the songs by the time March rolls around.
I joke to my audiences that I refuse to sing all Irish songs
during St. Patrick's month of March. And guess what? These songs are harder to sing than most. (continued below)

So I rebelled and said that
in March I am going to do
some Irish and some Italian or as I call it my
"Pasta and Potatoes" program. The Irish songs are easy to
pick out. The Italian songs are
not necessarily Italian but done by my favorite contemporary Italian singers.
So you have "Everybody Loves
Somebody Sometime" (Dean Martin); "Venus" (Frankie Avalon);
"Angelina/Zooma Zooma" (Louie Prima); "That's Life" (Frank Sinatra); "Volare"
(Bobbie Rydell); "And I Love You So" (Perry Como). Enjoy!
